Books by Karl Kemp
As I mention on the Home page and on the Purchasing Books and CD page, two newer books are now available: Righteousness, Holiness, and Victory Over Sin and Introduction to the Mid-Week Rapture. These newer books were taken from radio broadcasts and should typically be read first. They are easier to read, but the earlier books contain more information, especially The Mid-Week Rapture.
Holiness and Victory Over Sin: Full Salvation Through the Atoning Death of the Lord Jesus Christ
This book will enable the reader to better understand old covenant sacrifices (especially those offered on the Day of Atonement), which will lead to a better understanding of the all-important Sacrifice of the Lamb of God. Isaiah chapter 53, which is probably the most important passage in the Bible dealing with the atoning death of the Lord Jesus Christ, is discussed in some detail. A primary goal for this book is to show that full salvation - with the emphasis on holiness and victory over sin - has been provided through His atoning death. The studies contained in this book show something of the foundation needed for a true, Bible-centered revival. The church of our day has a great need for more transformation. This book was written for the professor, minister, and every Christian dedicated to a serious study of the Scriptures. It uses the translation of the NASB (1977 edition). Some fifty pages of this book are devoted to verse-by-verse studies of Romans chapters 1-8. This section of Romans, which contains some of the most important foundational teaching in the New Testament, confirms that holiness and victory over sin have been provided through the atoning death (and resurrection) of the Lord Jesus Christ. The book is 220 pages. Click on the link for some excerpts from this book and a few other items. Excerpts from Holiness book, etc.
The Mid-Week Rapture: A Verse-by-Verse Study of Key Prophetic Passages
The Mid-Week Rapture, as it is presented in this book, is a rather positive viewpoint. We will not be on the earth during any part of the forty two month super-evil reign of Antichrist, which will begin in the middle of Daniel's 70th week. We will not be here when God pours out His seven bowls of wrath. Rather, from the time of the mid-week rapture, we will be reigning with the Lord Jesus Christ. We will be on the earth during the first half of Daniel's 70th week, but, as discussed in this book, this is not an awesome message for true Christians.
This book has been written for the professor, minister, and the motivated Christian. It uses the translation of the NASB, One primary goal for this book is to accurately present the Biblical basis for the mid-week rapture. A second goal, one that is really more important than the first, is to accurately interpret the many passages of scripture that are discussed in a verse-by-verse manner in this book. These discussions are not limited to those points that directly relate to the mid-week rapture. The mid-week rapture represents a balance between the pre-week and end-of-the-week rapture viewpoints. The book is 360 pages. Excerpts from Mid-Week Rapture book, etc.
